UltraClear
Ultra Clear 3D MIRACL™ and 3DIntelliPulse™ technology is a treatment that uses advanced laser technology to address some of the most common signs of aging and skin concerns that affect men and women. How It Works
Ultra Clear 3D MIRACL™ and 3DIntelliPulse™ is a cold fiber laser that uses short light beams to remove the dead skin cell barrier at different depths, resulting in a natural reaction that includes increased collagen and elastin production.
During the treatment, the device will deliver controlled amounts of thermal energy into the deeper layers of the skin, known as the dermal layers, to help the body increase natural collagen and elastin production to address different skin concerns and rejuvenate the skin.

Our Ultra Clear laser treatments are performed by experts at Gold Skin Care Center, including Kevin Griffin, PA-C, Marci Levy Kleinrock, PA-C, Collette Utley, DNP, NP-C, and Madeleine Fox, laser specialist. This treatment qualifies as a “lunchtime laser,” meaning that you can schedule it during your lunch break at work and then resume your normal daily activities without disrupting your schedule.
The base treatment itself does not require any topical numbing cream and typically takes ten minutes to complete. You won’t have to worry about any medical downtime, and regarding social downtime, results vary from one patient to another. However, most patients feel comfortable going out and being seen in public immediately following the treatment.
The Treatment Modalities
Ultra Clear 3D MIRACL™ and 3DIntelliPulse™ have four different treatment modes to meet the unique needs of all patients. Once we meet with you to discuss your goals and confirm you’re a good treatment candidate, we can determine which treatment mode would meet the needs of your skin.
The Clear Mode
The Clear Mode uses cold fractional ablation to remove the uppermost layer of the skin, known as the stratum corneum. This treatment mode removes approximately 15% of this skin layer and is the perfect option for those looking for quick results and a comfortable treatment with minimal to no downtime. It’s an effective option for those who want to improve skin texture, acne blemishes, and sun damage.
The Clear+ Mode
The Clear+ Mode uses cold fractional ablation to remove more of the epidermis, approximately 80 of this layer. This treatment mode is an effective choice for patients who want to see dramatic improvements in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, discoloration, sun-damaged skin, and acne scars.
Ultra Mode
The Ultra Mode delivers a more advanced laser treatment. It uses the device’s proprietary 3DIntelliPulse™ technology to treat the more advanced signs of aging and skin concerns, including deep-set wrinkles, lines, and acne scars. This treatment mode will also promote increased collagen and elastin production to improve the skin and restore a healthy, youthful glow.
UltraClear Mode
The UltraClear Mode delivers a treatment that combines both Clear+ Mode and Ultra Mode to enhance the treatment results and address specific skin concerns. Patients who want immediate results and noticeably healthier, smoother, and brighter skin make good candidates for this particular treatment mode.
What To Expect After Your Treatment
After treatment, patients typically experience some redness, minor swelling, and a mild sunburn-like sensation. However, these temporary effects will not interfere with normal daily activities. Patients are advised to wait 24 hours before resuming specific activities, including excessive exercise, hot yoga sessions, or the use of saunas or hot tubs.
You can apply makeup a few hours after your treatment, and patients who want to undergo a more advanced treatment typically will need to plan around three days of downtime.
When Will I See the Results?
Patients who undergo the lighter version of this treatment can see results within two to five days, and those results can last several months. The more advanced treatment options will deliver gradually improving results in the year following treatment, and those results will last one to five years.
How Often Can I Schedule Treatments?
Leading skin experts across the United States recommend that patients should wait four to six weeks before scheduling a follow-up treatment. This time frame allows the skin to undergo the natural exfoliation and cellular turnover process to promote optimal results. With regard to treatment frequency, we typically recommend that patients undergo treatments at least once a year and as often as every three to six weeks.
Am I a Candidate?
